E3 ( The Electronics Expo), the largest gaming event of the year starts this Saturday.
E3 is an event where the largest game developers reveal what they are working on and what they have planned for the future.
I personally watch E3 live every year while live chatting with close friends and discussing what we are excited for.
The event will broadcasted online from various gaming news outlets (IGN, Youtube, the official E3 website etc.) and will also be airing on television.
The event is made up of several different conferences which have multi-hour blocks where publishers and developers affiliated with the publishers showcase their products. It is a huge deal in the industry.
It can also be a goldmine for awkward jokes and embarrassing technology malfunctions (as these games are still in developement). I would honestly recommend watching it, if only to see how the presenters react when things don’t go according to plan. One of my personal favorite moments was during the Microsoft convention a couple years back when they were introducing a Kinect game and this happened on the screen.
This year’s E3 event runs from June 1oth to June 13th.
The schedule for the conference is as follows:
If you don’t want to miss out on the biggest gaming event of the year and some genuinely funny moments make sure to tune into this years E3 conference, I know I will be.
